About

GalGael are a working community and charity based in Glasgow, Scotland. They work together on demanding common tasks that demonstrate ways of living with more humanity in our times. The workshop is a place of living Scottish heritage- filled with old boats, beautiful carvings and skilled craftspeople. It’s a great location for our weekend courses – easily accessible and an important part of Glasgow’s history.

Getting Here

GalGael is easy to reach by road or by public transport. It’s close to Ibrox Subway stop as well as well served by buses from the city centre. It’s about 2 minutes off the M8 and has near endless on street parking.

Accomodation

We don’t organise accommodation as part of courses at GalGael, if you’d like us to give you hand with a place to stay over your weekend just get in touch.
