Ardtun is the home of Wild Campers – campervan hire and conversion on the Ross of Mull. It’s a beautiful croft about a mile outside the village of Bunessan, with a purpose- built workshop space and views north towards the isle of Staffa. We launch our boats on the famously stunning Uisken beach.

The space a croft owned by Neil Harvey, who is very active in the community of Mull - he’s local fireman as well as on the board of several local community organisations.

Getting Here

Ardtun is not hard to find - take the ferry from Oban to Craignure, turn left and keep going for about 25 miles until you see a sign which says “Ardtun” off to the right. Take the Ardtun road. When you turn off drive for 1.7 miles until you see an old style red phone box on your right. You’ll then see a large green shed on your right – that’s it! If you are coming by bus get on the Iona Ferry bus at Craignure and ask to get off at Bunessan. Let us know which bus you’re on and we’ll come and meet you.

For all trips to Ardtun we will be camping on the croft, though we do have warm, dry and midge free space for cooking and relaxing over meals and in the evenings - more like glamping really! For an additional fee, we can arrange for more luxurious accommodation in yurts or bothies - please get in touch before booking
